We at Portsmouth Bowel Cancer Appeal are saddened to hear of the Passing of the wonderful, inspirational and truly amazing Dame Deborah James.
She has helped so much in the last 5 years to make people aware of Bowel Cancer, with her bowelbabe blogs, appearances on TV and on Lorraine Kelly’s show with her no Butts campaign.
She has selflessly put herself forward for new treatments which also aided bowel cancer research. Many others would have given up but not Deborah, her smile was infectious and her attitude to live her life to the full even in her darkest days was an inspiration to us all.
Us Bowel cancer patients and survivors, must carry on with her legacy saving lives
In the words of Dame Debora:
"Find a life worth enjoying, take risks, love deeply, have no regrets and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally – Check your Poo, it could just save your life."
Thank you and God bless you Deborah from all us Bowel cancer survivors xx
