Stuart and Rachael hosted the a charity night at The Eastney Tavern in Portsmouth for PBCA as they wanted to raise funds for our charity after Stuart was diagnosed with Bowel cancer earlier this year.
Professor Jim Khan performed Stuart’s operation and we are happy to say that all went well with good clearance, Stuart is currently having chemotherapy.
It was a very well attended event, with lot of family and friends attending.
The sunshine sisters Rachael and Zoe sang and delighted us all with their amazing voices.
These very talented ladies (Rachael is Stuart’s and Rachael’s sister-in-law.) kindly performed for free at the event
There was an auction too, the auctioneer Alec was very good – what a man! He can certainly sell with lots of humour and there was loads of bidding wars between friends, such good fun.
Rachael certainly did a great job with the raffle managing to get lots of prizes, a big thank you to all that donated.
I can definitely say everyone had a wonderful night with plenty of sore heads the next day I am sure
